The Department of Planning and Regional Development Engineering and the Department of Civil Engineering of the School of Engineering of the University of Thessaly organized and launched, starting from the academic year 2015–2016, a new Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program (IPP) titled “Project Management, Transportation and Spatial Planning.”
The objective of the program is to provide specialized postgraduate-level knowledge in a field with significant demand, addressing a gap that exists in higher education in our country regarding project management, transportation planning, and spatial planning. This is particularly important in a period when economic development and social cohesion are being challenged, and when transportation infrastructure and its management are expected to constitute one of the key pillars of development at both the national and European levels.
